Participation Agreement

1. Introduction

Chinderah / Tweed Golfers is administered by Chinderah / Tweed Golfers Pty Ltd (“the Company”) and operates in conjunction with Chinderah Golf Course, which is a privately owned and operated facility.

This agreement governs the terms under which individuals may register and participate in handicapping and competition activities administered by the Company.

By registering, renewing, or participating, the player agrees to the terms set out below.

2. Nature of Registration

Registration with Chinderah / Tweed Golfers provides access to:

An official Golf Australia Handicap
Eligibility to enter competitions conducted by the Company
Participation in organised golf activities administered by the Company

Registration constitutes participation in a privately administered playing group.

Registration does not constitute ownership, membership of an incorporated association, or any governance role in the Company or Chinderah Golf Course.

3. No Governance or Ownership Rights

Players acknowledge and agree that:

Chinderah Golf Course is privately owned and operated
Chinderah / Tweed Golfers Pty Ltd is a proprietary company governed by its directors
Registration does not confer voting rights, governance rights, or decision-making authority
Players do not acquire any ownership interest in the golf course or the Company

All operational decisions are made solely by the Company and authorised management.

4. Competition and Access Conditions

Participation in competitions and access to the golf course is subject to:

Course availability
Operational requirements
Applicable competition conditions
Compliance with applicable rules and policies

The Company reserves the right to:

Determine competition formats and conditions
Set booking procedures and access arrangements
Modify or discontinue competitions or services

5. Standards of Conduct

Players are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner.

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation where a player:

Engages in abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate conduct
Fails to comply with operational policies
Acts in a manner detrimental to the orderly operation of the golf course or competitions

6. Golf Australia Affiliation

Chinderah / Tweed Golfers is affiliated with Golf Australia for handicapping purposes.

Players agree to comply with:

The Rules of Golf
The World Handicap System
Applicable Golf Australia policies

7. Fees and Registration Period

Registration fees are payable in advance and apply for the designated registration period.

Fees are non-refundable except at the discretion of the Company.

Registration may be renewed annually.

8. Termination of Participation

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation at its discretion.

Players may discontinue their registration at any time.

9. Limitation of Rights

Registration confers only the right to participate in handicapping and competitions administered by the Company.

Registration does not create any entitlement to:

Guaranteed tee time access
Free green fees
Governance or operational control

10. Acceptance of Terms

By registering or renewing participation, the player acknowledges and agrees to be bound by this Participation Agreement.
